Michelin is now looking for a Pricing Manager to join the passenger car product line marketing team in our Nordic head office in Stockholm. This is a temporary position to cover a paternity leave, from January 2015 or as soon as possible and until May.

This position is a part of TNG:s temporary staffing, which means you become an TNG employee and work onsite as a consultant at Michelin.
Your main responsibility will be to provide the marketing and management teams with the pricing tools and recommendations necessary to make pricing decisions in the Nordic markets. In this role, you will be reporting to the Marketing Manager and will have sole responsibility for the pricing. You will work closely with your colleagues in marketing and sales, and mainly with our business analysis manager. You will also work as a direct link to our headquarters in France when it comes to giving or receiving feedback regarding the pricing in the Nordics.
Your regular activities will consist of:
• Collection and analysis of brand prices
• Simulation of price positioning and proposal of alternative price policies
• Communicating the pricing policy in the Nordics and integration in our commercial conditions
• Analysis of market price evolution and competitors´ price positioning
• Launch of commercial actions together with our sales team when needed
We are looking for someone with a university degree within industrial engineering and management and/or economics. You could be newly graduated or have a couple of years relevant working experience but a must is that you are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel. You are fluent in English; French is an advantage but not a must.
As a person you are detail oriented with analytical skills. You are capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently. You are driven and proactive with a positive "can-do" attitude and you enjoy working in a team and communicating with others.
